Air Cargo

From the Bay Area to Sacramento/Reno.  From Redding to Fresno.  Stockton Metropolitan Airport is Northern California’s low cost logistics hub!

§         Serve all of Northern California from one location

§         Less than a two-hour truck drive to all major Northern California cities

In addition to full-service general aviation and commercial travel facilities, Stockton Metro features top-of-the-line air cargo capabilities.  SCK proudly boasts one of the longest runways in the region, making it the only non-hub airport in Northern California able to accommodate the entire fleet of wide-body aircraft.

In 2002, the airport launched a $10-million improvement program with air cargo in mind.  The primary enhancement is an expanded air cargo ramp area encompassing approximately 10 acres.  World-class warehousing and cold storage facilities are available adjacent to an additional air cargo apron.

§         Avoid Bay Area air and ground congestion

§         Quick intermodal connections – truck, train and port

§         Easy access to Hwy 99 and I-5

§         Closer to Bay Area than Sacramento

§         Low landing and parking fees

Low landing fees (a fraction of Bay Area or Sacramento airports) and convenient access to the region’s highway system makes Stockton Metro an extremely cost-effective alternative to other Northern California airports.  In addition, low development costs, affordable housing, and excellent year-round climate make Stockton an ideal location for a heavy aircraft maintenance or cargo base of operations.

§         Control costs

§         Save time

§         Increase revenue

§         Attractive demographics, strong buying power

§         Hangar and cargo facility development opportunities

§         Full service FBO and cargo handling

UPS Supply Chain Solutions Inc. (formerly Menlo Worldwide), discovered the Stockton Metro advantage in 2003 when it relocated its entire Northern California cargo operation to Stockton Metro, closing its San Jose and Sacramento facilities.

Atlantic Aviation/The Stockton Jet Center provides fuel servicing exceeding airline ATA-103 standards while proudly upholding its motto - Better service at lower prices!

Now that you’ve found Stockton Metro, why go anywhere else?
